Camp 2007 Overview

The 60th annual Texas International Folk Dance Camp took place over Thanksgiving weekend 2007 (Thursday, November 22 - Sunday, November 25, 2007). It featured Romanian taught by Cristian Florescu and Sonia Dion and Salsa taught by Houston Salsa's Oscar, K & Nettie.

• Singing classes by Anne-Louise Schaffer. (She taught Croatian songs and worked on Balkan technique in the classes).
• Cuisine by Laura LaGue
• Live music by our versatile Texas Camp Band, The Homegrown Contra Band, and Slavadillo Vocal Quartet.
• Thursday's party was a TIFD Jubilee in celebration of 60 years of dancing (our diamond annivesary).
